From 15 April - 31 May, every pound you give will be doubled* - helping twice as many men, women and children regain their freedom, rebuild their lives and pursue justice.
Everybody deserves to be free
Freedom is a basic human right. Yet for millions, it has been taken away. Modern slavery steals hope, tears families apart and devastates lives.
It can look like men forced to work long hours in poor conditions, with little or no pay, women sexually exploited or trapped behind closed doors as domestic servants, and children coerced into running drugs for county lines gangs. And right now, millions of people are living this reality.
But together we can change it.

She couldn’t leave the house. Her passport was taken. She was told she had no choice.
Mary** was trafficked to the UK by a Ugandan UN judge, who promised opportunity, but then forced her to work as a maid and childminder.
She was isolated, controlled and made to feel worthless. Her freedom was taken from her. But Mary refused to give up.
With a Justice & Care specialist Victim Navigator by her side, she found the courage to speak out. Her bravery led to justice – her trafficker, former UN judge Lydia Mugambe, was convicted and sentenced to more than six years in prison.
Today, Mary is rebuilding her life – and using her voice to help protect others. Her story has been shared by ITV and The Times, helping shine a light on this hidden crime.

How are donations doubled?
It is thanks to our generous partners that we are able to match fund donations.
All donations* will be doubled from April 15 – May 31. If you sign up to give regularly your gifts for the next 12 months will also be doubled.
