Donations doubled this Spring with our Her Future campaign
April 15, 2025
This Spring, donations* to Justice & Care will be doubled through our match-funding campaign – Her Future, which shines a light on the disproportionate impact of modern slavery on women and girls. Donate between April 16 and May 31 to double your impact and support survivors on their journey to freedom, justice and empowerment.
Anyone can be a victim of slavery, but did you know women and girls are disproportionately impacted?
Every day, women and girls across the world are being exploited, trafficked, and denied their basic rights.
Gender inequality – including restricted access to education, healthcare and work – makes women and girls worldwide more vulnerable to exploitation. They are significantly more likely to experience forced commercial sexual exploitation, domestic servitude and forced marriage.
Take Willow**, a British teenager who was plied with drugs and transported around different UK counties to be raped. Daria**, who was preyed on in Romania by a man who she thought she was in a relationship with and sexually exploited. Or Tumpa**, who was terrorised by her trafficker, and then judged by her community in Bangladesh when she escaped.
These women are from different countries and backgrounds, but have all been subjected to the cruelty of modern slavery. Each one, with our help, is being supported to rebuild their lives – through care, access to the services they need, and justice.
The nature of this crisis is vast and complex, but together we can change lives. Today, we are launching a powerful opportunity to double your impact in the fight against modern slavery with the Her Future campaign.
From 16 April – 31 May, every pound that you donate to Justice & Care will be matched – meaning that your support will go even further in helping us support survivors like Tumpa, Daria and Willow to walk free, pursue those responsible and spark change.
Your donation could help a survivor to safely return home to their family, stand up to their trafficker in court or start rebuilding their life with mental health support and access to safe employment.
As violence against women and girls continues to rise, the Her Future campaign will shine a light on how we are fighting this crime and share the stories of survivors’ journeys to demonstrate that there is hope.
Funds raised will enable us to accelerate our strategic programmes and work to change the systems that make this brutal crime possible in the first place.
