Two men rescued in Essex

October 30, 2020

Our Victim Navigator embedded in Essex police, supported a raid on a traveller site.

We were able to help rescue a British and a Romanian man from squalid conditions of exploitation and provide the two men with immediate care. The British victim had been exploited there for 13 years!

Working with police we also supported the arrest of two people accused of exploiting the men.

There are 100,000 victims of modern slavery in the UK, exploited, abused and treated as less than human.

Join our Freedom Network and help us work with police to rescue more victims, support them to rebuild their lives and bring their perpetrators to justice.
